Born in 2015 out of the collaboration between the arranger Mathieu Najean and the dancer Sep Vermeersh, Reverent Juke has its roots in the golden era of swing.
With an explosive rhythm section built on the swinging drums of Tom Lambrecht, the bouncing bass and singing of Andrew Bolton and the wild stride of Julien Gillain, Reverent Juke sets the swing on fire with its three blowers, Martin Bolton on clarinet, Olivier Faber on trumpet and Mathieu Najean on reeds, blowing their horns on the fiery flames till they drop.
Stef Rosen is an Italian guitar player and singer living in Berlin. His way of composing and arranging is a personal combination of the old black folklore music from the 20’s and 30’s, and the soulful electric blues from the late 60s.
He looks at the tradition of this music with his personal, modern and respectful attitude. He is constantly touring around the World, playing in blues clubs, Festival, and blues dance events as solo artist or collaborating with other great musicians and bands.
He has been constantly touring for the last 3 years, non-stop..from New York to Seoul, from London to Moscow..anywhere people need to dance their blues away!
The Smokestackers appeared from a studio conversation and a shared love: the Blues!
João Belchior and Diogo Mão-de-Ferro go into the Blues roots and present a show where simplicity shines..
Two beautiful guitars, a juicy lovely voice and that extra punch of harmonica – pure blues!
Royal Blues Band
The Royal Blues Band, appears with energy and desire to put everyone dancing.
The band has a blues and jazz feeling, but the quintet does not leave other rhythms like Latin, funk, slow blues or shuffle.
We are sure that they will not stop until they set the dance floor on fire.
Maybe they can dance with us… Let’s shake it.
One of the very few vintage jazz bands in Portugal, 24 Robbers are well known on the dance-floors of lindy hop, where their swinging groove makes it hard to stop dancing.
Though in 2015 when the band was first formed, it was meant for dancers only, lately 24 Robbers are reaching to way broader audiences from festivals to TV awards, from big stages around the country to more intimate private events.
This international group, that truly appreciates the art of swing, is heavily influenced by such names as Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and many other great stars from the 1920s to the 1940s.

Hamed’s passion about Blues music and dance made him a full-time Blues DJ, teacher and organizer in Vienna. He is one of the organizers and founder of “Vienna Sugar Blues” and “Blues Fever Festival”.
He has played at lots of Blues festivals in Europe and loves to give dancers a full journey through the history of Blues and plays lots of different styles, although his focus is more on Blues female singers as he believes that this era should be played more at dance events.
